The Centre for
Assessment & Evaluation proudly presents a webinar series by our very own
evaluation visiting consultant, Senior Research Fellow Dr Jeanne Century from
the University of Chicago and Founder of Insider Consulting.
One of the
greatest challenges facing educators and education researchers is bringing new
programs and practices to classrooms that not only happen, but that also
endure. There are many reasons that educational innovations may or may not
endure including characteristics of the innovation itself, of the people
implementing the innovation, of the educational organization and of the
surrounding environment. This second webinar will introduce a structure for
organizing these characteristics and approaches to selecting characteristics to
study. It will also provide some examples of how these characteristics have
been accounted for in studies and how they have informed interpretations of
outcomes.
