Differentiated Instruction: It is all about maximizing learning for all students by responding to student variance. In this video, Dr Lucy Fernandez not only discusses key ideas around Differentiated Instruction (DI), but also shows how differentiation is appropriate for different contexts and classrooms by building in elements of differentiation into her module for middle leaders on the Management and Leadership Programme in Schools (MLS) at NIE. This not only raises awareness of DI through experiencing it but also invites participants to critically reflect on it.
