Flipped learning has sometimes been over-simplistically described as one that students 'learn' first at home, and then ask questions in class to further 'understand'. While this is true to some extent, the new education normal has opened doors to how flipped learning should be executed, which involves a strong authenticity to learners' backgrounds and prior experiences.
